This website is operated by Elm Education Ltd ("Elm Education", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 14838329, with its registered address at Wokingham, United Kingdom. You can contact us at hello@elmeducation.org.
By using elmeducation.org you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
You may view, download and print pages from this site for your own use or for the internal purposes of your school or organisation. You may not republish material from this site commercially, sell or license it, or present it as your own work.
You agree not to use this site in any way that is unlawful, or that damages, disables or impairs it or interferes with anyone else's use of it.
All content on this site — including text, graphics, logos, images, video and the design of the site itself — is owned by Elm Education or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. The names "Elm Education", "Setting The Standard" and "Learnalyze", and our logos, are our marks.
We take care to keep this site accurate and up to date, but we provide it for general information about our products. Prices, course content and product features described here may change. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance, and no contract exists between us until we have confirmed your order in writing.
Enquiries and enrolment requests made through this site are requests, not confirmed orders. We will respond with details of the applicable licence, price and terms.
Setting The Standard is supplied under an annual licence — for a named individual teacher, or for a school or organisation on a whole-school basis. Licences are for the users covered by the agreement; access must not be shared with anyone outside it. Course materials remain our intellectual property and may not be copied, recorded, redistributed or used to create derivative training.
Learnalyze is provided through a separate platform at learnalyze.net, under its own terms of service and privacy policy, which apply to your use of that application.
Payment terms, licence duration, renewal and cancellation are set out in the agreement or invoice we issue to you, which takes precedence over this page for anything relating to your purchase.
If you buy as a consumer rather than on behalf of a school or organisation, you have statutory cancellation rights under consumer law. Where you ask us to begin providing access to digital course content immediately, and you agree to that at the time of purchase, your right to cancel may end once access has been provided. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
This site links to learnalyze.net and to other third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of sites we do not operate, and a link is not an endorsement.
We aim to keep this site available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, we provide this website "as is". We are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of anticipated savings arising from your use of this site. Professional decisions about teaching, staffing or school improvement remain yours; our products inform those decisions but do not replace your professional judgement.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published here, with the date shown at the top of this page.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Questions about these terms: hello@elmeducation.org. See also our Privacy Policy.
