how each can be used to inform learning and help students understand their
progress.
§ Apply
Hattie and Timperley’s feedback model

“feedback” (assessing current performance), and “feed forward” (guiding next
steps), across task, process, self-regulation, and self-level.
§ Develop
practical self and peer feedback strategies
Discover structured approaches such as peer conferences, self-assessment forms,
and guided reflection that empower students to provide accurate, constructive
feedback.
§ Combine
verbal and written feedback effectively
Understand when to use spoken feedback for immediate impact and written
feedback for record-keeping, and how to merge both to maximise learning
outcomes.
